Parag Agrawal became Twitter new CEO on Monday after Jack Dorsey gave his resignation. There were many gossips that the Twitter board was searching to replace Jack Dorsey with someone else. The search, it seems, finally over with an in-house candidate employee.

Parag Agrawal turned as Twitter CEO on Monday after Jack Dorsey gave his resignation. The decision was seemingly months in the making. There were many rumours that the Twitter board was searching to replace Jack Dorsey with someone else. Parag, who till now was Twitter’s (CTO) chief technology officer , is assuming the role as the company CEO instantly .

Parag Agrawal engaged with Twitter in 2011 as a Distinguished Software Engineer when he finished his PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University.
